Kumarakom, Alleppey

Kumarakom is a tourist village in the state of Kerala, India. It’s a cluster of small islands on the Vembanad backwaters. The bird sanctuary spread across 14 acres is a favorite resting place of migratory birds and an ornithologist’s paradise. Newly wed couples take a boat trip round the islands to watch the birds of the Kumarakom sanctuary. The place is an amazing paradise of emerald green paddy fields, mangrove forests and coconut groves intermingled with striking canals and waterways adorned with lilies making it an ideal honeymooner’s paradise. Newly weds can make their honeymoon memorable with an exotic Houseboat ride for cruising or camping.
