Bannerghatta National Park

Located 22 kilometers (14 miles) from Bangalore, this beautiful national park is home to one of the richest natural zoological reserves, with 10 reserve forests within its boundaries. It's situated in picturesque surroundings and has a wide variety of fauna. Among the attractions are the crocodiles, picnic corner, a serpentarium, pets corner, and lion safari. The Butterfly Park here is the first one in India. Elephant rides are also possible, usually on weekends.
